Ash am hits Richards with 2 shots to the back of the head. Richards pins Asham against the boards and take two good shots before Asham switches up and hits him back with two.  Asham delivers another two to the back of his head that drops Richards to a knee. At this point the linesman jump in and break it up.

Once the period ends Hilbert and Kapanen start talking and Hilbert shoves Kapanen to the ice. A large scrum ensues as a bunch of Flyers player go after Hilbert. Eager comes in with his gloves off and looks for Hilbert. Witt comes in late and does NOT want to fight. Eager grabs him and Witt still has his stick and gloves on. Finally Witt drops them and Eager hits him with two quick punches. Witt starts to hold on. They wrestle around and Eager frees up a hand and throws two more. Witt finally comes around but isn't hitting anything. Eager delivers a nice blow to the side of Witt's head but Witt wrestles him down and throws two punches for good measure.  Meanwhile Richards grabbed onto Hilbert and started throwing punches. Hilbert had his gloves off but didnt throw a punch. Richards was given an extra penalty

Adams throws another punch that misses while Asham throws another huge punch that knocked Adams down. Adams gets right back up and Asham catches him with an uppercut. Asham throws two more punches that connect. They trade a few punches and Asham loses his balance. Adams takes advantage and hits Asham on the back of the head. Asham gets back up and connects with another huge shot. Asham throws another that knocks down Adams once again. Adams gets back up again and the refs break it up

At first it doesnt look like anything will develop, but then both players drop the gloves.  Lots of hugging going on, until Campoli gets an arm free. Campoli fires about 5 uppercuts while Brylin is hanging on. They are still tied up as Campoli throws three more punches. They are still tied up as Brylin goes to a knee. Campoli gets 2 more punches in while Brylin is down and then the refs come in and break it up.

Rupp tries to pull Fata's jersey over his head, which he finally accomplishes. Chris SImon is pissed because he originally challenged Rupp who blindsided Fata instead.

They break away and Fedoruk catches Simon with a nice punch. Simon returns the favor with one of his own. They trade punches for a while until Simon catches Fedoruk with a nice one. Fedoruk puts his head down and Simon continues to wail away. Simon hits him with at least 4 big lefts before Fedoruk comes back with two of his own. They tie up again, but Simon quickly lets go and hits him with 2 more lefts. The ya re spinning around now as Fedoruk comes back with 2 rights that wiggle Simon's helmet. They both trade misses and Simon hits another left. Simon hits an uppercut and starts to spin Fedoruk. Finally Fedoruk pulls Simon down.

Reid misses with another but knocks off Asham's helmet with the backswing. He ties up Asham but Asham comes back with huge right which drives Reid back. Asham gains control and beats Reid down to one knee with three overhand rights.
